AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!!

Just seeing that I haven't posted in several weeks stresses me out! Here's what's been going on in a nutshell: We went on vacation to the coast with the family. We've been on field trips to 2 pumpkin patches with Ryan and Maddie's schools. Mike's been traveling. I've been working. I sprained my ankle so marathon training is on hold. I guess that sums it up! Here's a few pics!

New Job

I keep forgetting to post that I got a part time job. I won't go into detail about it because this is public blog and I don't want to talk about work on it so I'll just say it's related to my degree, I like it, and I love being in the real world again instead of just the stay home mom/housewife world. Thanks to my mom's friend Evelyn who forwarded me the job posting. She was right, it's the perfect job for me.

Training Update

Just a quick training update in case you don't check my Team in Training page. (which I haven't updated yet anyway!) I ran 10 miles today and have my first injury. When I took off my shoes and socks after getting home I saw A BLISTER!! My toes on my right foot have been killing me and the middle one has the blister. I also might be losing the toenail on that foot. My nail polish is getting chipped away, buy just on that toe. Other than that it went great. It took a little over 2 hours to run that far. My only stops were for water and/or energy gel. I did have to take a nap this afternoon and when Tori came in and woke me up I didn't think I could get out of bed. Physically that is. My body felt like a train ran over it. But a little ibuprofen took care of that. Only 7 weeks till the big race!!!

Tori's First Haircut

Tori had her first haircut yesterday. It was very uneventful. There was no crying, wiggling or tantrums. She just climbed up into the chair like a big girl and sat there while she got her hair cut. Sigh... My baby's growing up.....

Birthday Party

Maddie and Ryan had their 5th birthday party at Pump It Up. We had 26 kids there and it looked like everyone had a blast. They got some great gifts and have been playing with them constantly the last few days. Ryan had a lego shaped cake, baked by my neighbor. It was YUMMY! Maddie opted for cupcakes from Target. Mike and I will give them their presents from us on their real birthday next week. Then next weekend we go to the coast for our annual family trip and will have the family birthday party.
