He died or the law done got him

The other day Ryan's bus was very late coming home from school. When he got off the bus there was a new bus driver. I asked Ryan where Mr. Richard was and he said "Oh, he died." "He died?" I asked. "Yeah, he died." Ryan said. I didn't know what else to say about it so I fretted until the next day. Again, there was a new driver but this time I asked where Richard was. "The law done got him" he said. "What???" "The law done got him, he has jury duty." What a relief.......
