We made it back from our family vacation that included Vegas, San Antonio, & Port A. Mike, Tori, Meme and I went to Vegas and left Maddie & Ryan with Aunt B. & Uncle Schim. Thanks to Grandma and Grandpa who took M & R for a day as well. We had a great time. I came home $100 richer and Mike "broke even." We stayed at Bally's where Mike had a work conference. Meme took care of Tori so we could go out to dinner and gambling. Tori did pretty good as long as she was being pushed in the stroller and didn't know it wasn't Mom or Dad pushing the stroller.
Tori, Meme and I went back to SA after a few days while Mike stayed in Vegas to work. We had Matthew's birthday party and the kids had a great time staying with "the cousins."
Uncle John, Aunt Crystal & JR came down from Alaska & we shared a condo with them at the coast while Aunt Peach, the cousins and Meme & Poppa stayed next door. We had a good time getting to know little JR and he and Tori were just adorable together. We had the twins family birthday party down there and they got lots of fun presents. Grandma & Grandpa came to the birthday party as well. The weather & the beach were perfect. It was a good thing too because Mike had vowed never to go to Port A again if there was seaweed or red tide on the beach. Wheeewww.
Be sure to notice the pic of the twins in the inflatable boat on the beach. It tipped over in the waves with Colin, Ryan & Matthew in it and they all went under. Mike claims to have single handedly rescued all 3 before Uncle Schim could even make it to the boat. (Are you reading this Bec?) Good thing Meme wasn't there to see it!
