If those women can do it why can't you? (Ryan's comment to me while I was trying to do an exercise video with a resistance band. I bought the intermediate band. I'm no intermediate.)
"You milk cows by pulling on their penises" (Ryan)
"Look Mom, it's two of the same persons!" (Ryan pointing out identical twin boys who were walking in front of us at school)
"Maggie is my favorite friend at school because her name sounds like Maddie" (Maddie)
"I wanted Barack Obama to win because his name sounds like my friend Brock" (Maddie)
"It's not working!" (Tori, while sitting on the potty trying to go)
"I said hi to God at every bench." (Maddie, in the prayer garden at church.)
"Burgers are in your nose too." (Ryan, while eating a burger at dinner)

When leaving an office building downtown, "But I really want to spend some more time here!" (Ryan)

We can always trade in our potatoes (Maddie) (This is in reference to Mike having a fit about small potatoes. We get our produce from a co-op so he said to trade them for something else.)

Tori is 9 months

Tori went to her 9 month wellness exam this week. She is 20 lbs and 29 inches long. She is 75-90% for weight and over 95% for height. She is reaching all her milestones just fine and no issues other than not sleeping through the night. The dr. just told me to give her rice cereal at night instead of the morning because it is more filling. Now if only I could get her to eat more! She's just filling up on breast milk. She also got her 3rd tooth yesterday. It looks like 3 more are coming in on the top.

Maddie got put in timeout at school for the first time yesterday. She was yelling and running around the classroom with 3 other kids when they were supposed to be quiet. She lost a popsicle stick on her chart and was upset about that. They start with 3 sticks each day and if they don't lose any they get a sticker.

Ryan has decided he wants a gray car for his birthday. A real car, not a toy one. He doesn't understand that only grown ups have real cars. Maddie wants a big girl bike, Hello Kitty stuff, Barbie stuff or Tinkerbell stuff. She also wants a bike trailer like Lincoln's mom (Cynthia) so I can pull them around with my bike. I haven't ridden my bike probably in 10 years! Doubtful she'll get that one.

Uncle Dave is coming to visit this weekend and next week we leave for our big vacation. Beginning with Vegas Baby, San Antonio & the coast. Can't wait!!
